We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for our dynamic IT team at our location in Herzebrock-Clarholz or Cologne (mobile working possible) or remotly with Germany.

Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for the infrastructure of our e-commerce customer platforms  
  • You will manage the virtual machine management (VMware vSphere) 
  • The administration and programming of Azure DevOps pipelines in YAML is also part of your tasks 
  • Setting up, monitoring and improving Kubernetes infrastructures (permissions/firewalls/integration and load balancing of external systems) is part of your area of responsibility 
  • You write Bash and PowerShell scripts to automate relevant processes 
  • You are continuously involved in optimizing and improving the existing systems 

Your profil:

  • You have a degree in computer science or a comparable education  
  • You also have experience with network-related technologies, Windows servers and Active Directory (AD)/Azure Active Directory (AAD) 
  • You are familiar with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell and have been using these languages for many years 
  • You have good knowledge of the Linux operating system 
  • You have a solid basic understanding of cloud services such as Azure or AWS 
  • You bring professional experience in the cloud-native ecosystem around Docker, Kubernetes and clustering  
  • You have a strong service mentality and good communication skills in German and English  
  • Independence, commitment, team spirit and analytical thinking round out your profile 
  • You have a desire to learn new things and develop yourself further
